A huge gorge, a couple miles long by a half-mile wide, with a medium-sized river flowing into it. The river falls down a waterfall towards the eastern wall of the canyon. There are a few paths, some steep, some not, that lead from the canyon up into the surrounding dark woodlands. No matter the time, it is either dusk or night over the canyon. beware, for even if a horse does not become lost in the extensive forest, it may stumble over a cliff and fall to its death in the gorge below.
