Luminous Acres : V2 Riding Academy/Ranch/City RPG
There’s no greater bond than that between a rider and her horse. To feel that connection is completely irreplaceable. So were the thoughts of a young Stacey Morganne. Throughout her live she had strived to ensure this bond remained in the hearts of many young riders forever. Orion Academy was based upon the dreams of one young girl and her beloved stallion, Orion. However, she never saw her own dreams fulfilled.
At age nineteen, Stacey had fought her hardest to completely banish the right that slaughter plants had to add horses to their bill of meat. Shutting many down in the process, she became completely wrapped up in her work. After winning many awards, championships, and famous titles, Orion could have been given the overall title of a priceless equine. The equestrian business is harsh and such people fought to bring down the inseparable pair. In the eve before Orion’s last competition before retirement, he was stolen from the holding pasture only to never been seen again.
After many months of searching without luck, Stacey fell into a depression. Most found it ridiculous that she was so torn up over a horse though she saw it as a much greater deal. Her best friend was gone forever and she couldn’t even begin to help him. It was then, in her home in New York, that Stacey Morganne was found, hung in her bathroom. Despite the fact that it screamed suicide, there is reason to believe that foul play was injected to the situation.
Today, Orion Academy is all that remains of the legend. The particular house that once used to be Stacey Morganne’s still remains upon the grounds and it is dubbed haunted. But there is much more to the academy than meets the eye. This particular prestigious school had been created to ensure the bond between human and equine always stayed in tact.
Most arrive at the school for the simple love of horses, some are pressured, and others merely sentenced to four years here in order to straighten their lives out. Don’t let the looks deceive you though, this school ventures on the far out side. Gossip and lies and worse than ever and the relationship between humans and animals aren’t the only things that live here.
Nestled in the heart of New York, Orion Academy now has new competition. As the instructors try to keep the Academy afloat, the nightlife and beauty of New York draws more and more people in. New farms are sprouting up everywhere and competition begins.
The Arrival of Doom « Result #4 on Dec 15, 2008, 7:15pm »
Doom's flints barely scored the earth as he galloped toward his new home. Not only was he eager to see the land his father had chosen as their new home, but he had a possible queen accompanying him on his journey. His spine prickled as he thought of the... interesting first encounter he had had with the femme, Plague.
His father's scent grew stronger in his nose, and he stopped suddenly at the edge of a cliff. Below him, the land dropped down into a steep canyon. The walls were tall and rocky, with niches here and there with pathways leading down into the gorge. Looking along the edge of the land, he saw trees gather thickly, some right up to the lip of the canyon. It seems I was right to trust the judgment of my father.
He turned his eyes to where Plague was. "This seems to be the land my father has chosen for our herd. What do you think of it?

a canine roleplay.
In 2008 scientist Dr. Robert E. Adams discovered the cure for heartworm. It was delivered in the form of a gas mask over the cat or dog for only a minute at a time. The gas would kill the heartworms at any stage of the development with only a side effect of a little bit of a runny nose. The best part was that it was so cheap that it could be offered as low as five dollars a treatment. Millions of pet owners around the world lined up for hours to save their animals, and in no time heartworms was just a thing of the past. To help prevent the outbreak of the killer worm again the US government hired teams of people who would go up and down streets spraying the gas. This way strays wouldn’t spread the worm onto other animals. It was perfect, maybe too perfect.
In 2010 a normally tame dog in a household suddenly started to viciously attack his owners. An elderly woman eventually died from the attack, and the dog had to be shot just to prevent any more harm. It was a puzzling case as no evidence of rabies was found in the male dog. However, what the vet did find was an odd type of brain cell in the dog. It was attacking other cells around it, and it was triggering massive overdoses of adrenaline. A few days later three other dogs, in the same area, did the exact same thing. This time a young child was killed. The odd thing was that his body was eaten completely; even some of the bones were gone. The two other dogs were found with the same type of odd cell in their brains.
Two weeks later chaos erupted. Dogs in every city and in every state were attacking anything they could get their mouths on. Some said that they acted almost like they were rabid. Experts on rabies gathered a few of the infected dogs and came to a terrifying conclusion. Since the odd brain cell was producing so much adrenaline the canines were in a constant state of ‘super’ strength. Although, this came with a terrible cost so the dogs were always in search of food. The treatment for heartworms that was found two years prior had been slowly mutating until it finally took a hold of the dog. The total death count for humans throughout the entire world was reaching the hundred thousand. Military teams were called in from the government to eliminate any dogs in sight.
One organization started to offer to pick up dogs that had never come in contact with the medication. Often it was in third world countries, or in small towns where the medication never got that far out. A small scan would be done on the dog before it was picked up and shipped off to a town located on the southern boundaries of Canada. This town was named Nexo, the mouth of death, and it once was a booming city full of people. Now it sits and it’s the last place for dogs to live a semi-normal life again.
Are you one of the survivors or did you fall like the rest?
Everything in this universe has a purpose. The air you breathe, the water you drink, the land you walk upon, and the flames that heat. Welcome to a world where these elements I speak of come alive, in which they are under your control.
Or are they really?
Horse gods and goddesses are powerful. Nonetheless, everybody has their flaws. Yes, even those immortal ones who controlled everything in this world. They were impressively intelligent and strong, but there we so few of them they had no other choice but to harness the most difficult of powers to control--the elements. Every other equine was born under one of the four elements. Earth, Water, Fire or Air. The goddesses and gods held the responsibility of making sure they remained balanced, and did not grow out of hand. But not even the immortal ones could face the weight of responsibility. For as you know, there are much other more important things to worry about in the world. The immortals conversed and decided to harness the power of the elements into stones.
The stones of Fire, Air, Water, and Earth were then placed on this mortal world. And here were their guardians:
King Blodayventer of Air King Anakin of Fire Queen Athena of Earth Queen Nerina of Water
The life source of each bender relies on their set stones. From there, the immortals chose four special royals to be in charge of governing and protecting their stones, for it was without a doubt, a large responsibility. As reward for their servitude the newly found royals were given decrees that they were strangely a part of their element, only in horse form. Therefore, they could easily rule without a fuss. So they were masters of their elements, and all lived happily ever after right?
Wrong.
A goddess make the mistake of telling them, that if all four stones were ever to unite together as one, something amazing would happen. An unknown power would be released, but a tragic fate would accompany the nations who got their stone taken from them. They would perish, and the elemental nation who did unite all four stones would live on as the most powerful, elite, element in the world.

Children of the Stars v.2 Reign of Ice
It was only four seasons ago that the rogues and traitors were driven away or killed. The recovery was slow, but in th span of a season the four great leaders managed to get their clans back on track, and just in time. The leafbare season was harsher than normal, with few prey, and in the spring a set of cats from the south made their move to take over territory. They haven't made it to the clans yet, but they call themselves Iceclan.
Killing any cat that's "too darkly furred" or that stands in their way, this group of cats are descended from Bloodclan and hold them as their own version of Starclan, making them more deadly than ever. With nine lives of their own, the leader is known to be ruthless, but he doesn't overdo things right away, like Scourge did. No, he knows it is far wiser to take the clans out one by one, little by little. If he has his way, the clans will have no chance at standing together.
Will the clans survive this genocide, or will they be killed and enslaved by the new clan that has arrived? Only time will tell, so step inside. It's your life, and your choice. Choose wisely, or else get torn apart by the claws of deceit.
